LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE TO A SQUAT RACK?
Then read more about our Rush V2 squat stands. As with all Kustom Kit products, these stands are made with heavy duty materials ensuring a solid piece of kit for both commercial facilities and home gyms.
They feature adjustable widths so no matter how wide you squat, you'll be sure to find the perfect width.
HOW STURDY ARE THEY?
To maintain the strength and rigidity of the rear adjustment rack these stands are built to include two thumb screws which will reduce slack and tighten up the rack during those heavy squat sessions.
The squat stands which hold your bar are chrome plated. Ideal for heavy usage as they won't chip or flake like cheaper powder coated versions. The chrome finish also greatly improves corrosion resistance and means your stands will look better for far longer than other models.
COMPACT AND FULLY ADJUSTABLE SQUAT STANDS
If you're thinking of setting up a home gym and want stands to bench and squat then these could be the ones for you. They're manufactured so they can swiftly be dismantled into two sections meaning they won't take up excessive space and can easily be stored away until your next training session.
Another feature you'll find useful are the stainless steel barbell adjustment rollers. These will help you to very easily move the bar from side to side to get that perfect starting position, even if the bar is loaded up with weight.
BUILT FROM TOUGH 8MM THICK STEEL
The height of the bar catchers on these stands mean you can use them for both squatting and benching, because of this we include safety bars as standard. You can adjust these as necessary and they'll provide extra safety during your workout.
If you're after something even more versatile and built to competition specification then take a look at our Kombo Rack V2 which features an integral bench and band pegs as standard.
WHAT ADJUSTMENTS ARE THERE?
Well the uprights which hold your bar adjust from 1050mm from the floor all the way up to 1525mm in 20mm increments and are secured tightly in place with a brass lined handwheel which clamps onto the upright. This makes them more rigid than standard squat stands when used at their maximum height.
The safety bars adjust from 535mm high to 750mm high in 20mm increments
The width of the uprights can be set at anywhere from 1115mm apart all the way down to 865mm apart in 25mm increments
Q Hi what is the weight capacity and can you bench with this rack +
A Hi there, weight capacity is around 450kg and yes you can bench from them too.
Q I know this is probably a silly question but can you use this for flat bench press? Are the black bits at the side adjustable? Also how long is the offer on for? Thanks Scott +
A Hi there, thanks for the question. The uprights which hold the bar adjust from 1050mm to 1525mm with the safety bars (black bits) adjust from 535mm to 750mm so in terms of bench pressing this can be done. Depending on your height, if you needed customisation then this wouldn't be a problem. Thanks again.
Q Can I get the shipping box dimensions and details? Total weight, height, width and length. +
A Hi there, the stands are actually not boxed but rather bolted to a single pallet of which the dimensions are as follows; 1200mm width x 1200mm length x 1100 height. The weight would be around 90kg. Thanks.
Q Can I get the dimension of the squat stand please? And how long would it take for delivery if I order it now. Thanks, Min +
A Hi. Apolagies for the delay. We have added the dimensions on the website for you. Delivery time is 15-20 working days at present but this will fluctuate all the time depending on order volumes. Thanks for the question
Q How much does it weigh? +
A Hi there, thanks for the questions. They weight approximately 70kg.
Q Hello Sean, I’m looking to get a squat stand for my flat and am interested in the V2 Rush Stand but I have space limitations so just had a few questions I was hoping you could help with: (1) does the stand disassemble fully and easily so that it can be stored away after each session?; (2) how narrow can it be made? I am thinking of getting a 6 ft bar which is only 43 inches collar to collar so am wondering whether it would be possible to rack it on this stand; and (3) is this stand stable enough for heavy squats and bench presses? +
A The Squat Stands do dismantle very easily by removing the centre cross beam. This would allow you to store the left and right 'stands' independently, they measures 375mm wide x 952mm long. The width of the rack at it's widest point is 1500mm on the widest setting and 1245mm wide at its narrowest setting. On it's narrowest setting the width of the uprights will leave you with 45mm clearance either side of the collar using a 42" barbell. We havn't had any reported issues with stability when using these to squat or bench press, obviously they wouldn't be as stable as a purpose built bench press but these should be more than capable of offering stability up to 300-350kg squats and these squat stands are regularly used in commercial environments
