Q What are the dimensions and footprint of this piece of equipment +
A Hi Chris, thanks for the question. In terms of floor area needed for the Viking press you're looking at 1350mm deep and 825mm wide excluding any weight horns or 1500mm including weight horns. The height of the machine is 1560mm. Thanks again!
BUILD STRONG DELTS WITH OUR VIKING PRESS
The Viking Press has always been known as a strongman competition lift but has been growing in popularity and is being seen more and more in the commercial gym environment.
Essentially, it is an overhead pressing movement that hits the shoulders in a similar way that the phase shoulder press does but engages the core and upper body to a greater extent.
The idea is to perform the movement standing up, without any bending of the knee giving your shoulders a truly great workout.
CHOICE OF GRIPS
Our Viking Press offers exceptional build quality with a choice of grip positions, either pronated or supinated giving you more variety when targetting different parts of the shoulder.
Even though the machine is heavy duty we’ve chosen to add some bolt down tabs so you can easily fix it to the floor adding extra stability.
What’s more the laser cut numbered upright can be adjusted to suit any height user and can even be dropped low enough for use with a flat bench during chest training exercises
You also have a choice to add on some additional weight horns so you can keep extra plates on hand for when you need them and by choosing the frame colour you’re sure it will fit well into your gym.
